Lander Hope Clinic

Have a question about our medical services? We have the answers. Check out these FAQs and give us a call today for more information!

  • You don’t accept insurance. Does that mean if I have insurance I can’t use it?

Most of our insurance patients seek reimbursement from their insurance companies. We have seen reimbursements from many companies in the 80-100% range. If you want to submit our charges for reimbursement, we will gladly provide you with the billing information that your insurer may request, but we can’t guarantee any specific reimbursement.

  • Since you don’t accept insurance, do I need to bring cash?

Not at all. We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, health savings account cards, employer-offered flexible spending accounts, and checks.

  • Are you only “alternative” medicine – or do you practice “regular” medicine as well?

Our practitioners are as skilled in Western (regular) medicine as you would expect in any medical office. We deal with many conditions (flu, minor infections, earaches, sore throats, etc.) in the same manner as you might expect. But our practitioners have also studied functional medicine and other non-traditional approaches (alternative or Eastern medicine) and can offer expanded and, in many cases, more effective and/or less pharmaceutical solutions.

  • How long ahead do I need to book?

As a rural clinic serving our friends and neighbors, we try to keep one or two open appointments every day so that we can deal with walk-in traffic, emergencies, people waking up sick, and other similar challenges.

  • Do you accept walk-ins?

    We absolutely do. Every day.

  • In addition to the regular things I might expect, are there things you treat that I might not know about?

Many patients are surprised at the breadth of services we offer. We do tick testing for Lyme and other tick-borne diseases and offer a finger stick Lyme test that determines Lyme in 17 minutes. We treat pain with laser therapy. We do x-rays and ultrasounds. We offer a weight loss program that actually works. We do vitamin infusions. We have chiropractic services and clinical massage therapy. For a small rural clinic, we are a one-stop shop for many.

  • What is the wait time for x-rays and ultrasounds?

We can normally get to an x-ray in 5-10 minutes. Ultrasounds are normally quite fast as well.

  • Do you do blood work?

We do indeed. We have over 400 blood tests and other diagnostic tests. No appointments are necessary, and our lab is open from 9 – 4 on Monday through Thursday and 9 – 12 on Fridays.
